This position consists of assisting Manufacturing Engineers in completing Productivity Improvement Projects, Engineering Change Orders, and New Product Releases.
Essential Functions
- Ability to use Microsoft Office effectively.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Communicate accurately and precisely in a professional manner throughout the company.
- Communicate with Production Supervisors regarding ECO’s, pilot production runs, and improvement projects.
- Basic PLC experience used for troubleshooting production equipment.
- Strong analytical skills used for trouble shooting electro/mechanical systems.
- Highly disciplined, logical thinking, team oriented and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work on scissor lift as high as 35 feet.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
Job Qualifications
- Completion of formal two-year education in a manufacturing related program; 4 plus years related work experience in lieu of formal training.
- Satisfactory work record.
- Ability to use hand tools and trades type tools.
- High mental and visual effort required.
- Must be able to multitask in a manufacturing environment.
- Job involves standing most of shift.
- Works with power driven equipment; overhaul and repair work may involve assignments in overhead structures or work beneath machinery. Frequent stooping and bending required.
- Close attention and care is required to prevent damage to complex machine tools.
Salary : $30 - $38
