Potter Electric Signal Company is looking for a Day Shift Production Supervisor to oversee the manufacturing operations Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30 pm. There is occasional overtime on Fridays.
Successful Production Supervisor candidates should have at least three years’ experience in manufacturing supervisor role, excellent communication and people skills, strong work ethic and a proven record of servant leadership style.

Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all activities of our night shift manufacturing operation
- Train, coach and support all associates and team leaders
- Ensure daily safety, quality and production targets are met
- Complete required 5S and safety inspections. Hold team accountable for daily execution
- Plan and prepare daily labor, equipment, material, and training requirements
- Collaborate with receiving, quality and planning to drive aligned priorities
- Analyze, investigate, track and fix manufacturing errors
- Maintain "up to date" knowledge of process and documentation requirements
- Comply with company policies/procedures, documentation, and customer requirements
- Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement
Qualifications
Requirements
- At least 3 years' manufacturing experience at supervisory level
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Focus on continuous process improvement, ability to facilitate change
- Strong knowledge and experience implementing LEAN manufacturing principles
- A "hands on" and servant leadership style
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Preferred - bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Engineering

- Able to reach and bend
- Ability to speak and hear
- Must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds
