The Safety Intern position provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in safety management, compliance, and workplace safety programs. The ideal candidate is passionate about promoting a safe and healthy work environment and eager to learn about safety best practices.
Essential Functions

- Assist in conducting safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
- Support the development and implementation of safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
- Collect, analyze, and report safety data.
- Participate in incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
- Help ensure compliance with OSHA and other relevant regulatory standards.
- Contribute to safety campaigns, toolbox talks, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate safety records and documentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Currently perusing a bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field. Prefer candidate to be in the third or fourth year of their program.
Salary : $18 - $20
