In this role, theTest Operatorwill be responsible for conducting comprehensive tests on multiple electronic components using specialized software and hardware. You will follow detailed testing procedures, procure necessary components, and perform routine equipment maintenance. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient and accurate testing operations.

This is a full-time, benefitted, position working Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. onsite in the manufacturing facility. An occasional shift in hours may be necessary to accommodate the needs of the business.
Essential Functions
- Testing products according to customer and Valcom specifications, running four (4) units at a time by correctly hooking up the units on test carriers and using the computer instructions to test the units.
- Obtain small components (wires) when needed from the technician to complete work and transport once finished. Move units to the staging area.
- Performs quality checks on equipment (carriers) using visual checks to see that all wires remain in good working condition.
- Performs duties within quality and safety guidelines.
- Performs other duties as needed to successfully fulfill the functions of the position.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Ability to read and write English for effective communication and product documentation.
- Previous experience working with reading work orders and customer orders
- Thoroughness in completing tasks, ensuring accuracy and precision while timely completing work.
- Keeping detailed records of quality checks, audits, and corrective actions.
- Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and instructions from supervisors.
- Work cooperatively with team members and supervisors to build positive relationships and achieve common goals.
- Ability to stand for approximately 50% of shift, lift up to 15 lbs., and bend and turn in the testing and staging of the products.
- Effectively operate a manual tape gun and power screwdriver when needed.
- Proper use and maintenance of safety gear and equipment, and adherence to safety policies.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work mandatory overtime as needed.
- Basic Computer Skills (Windows based)
