Job Summary:
The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician II performs the ongoing facility maintenance and upkeep and repairs on plant equipment. The primary focus is Electromechanical Maintenance.
Available Shift:
- Monday – Friday 7AM -4PM
Rotating shift beginning March 2025 (Example: 6AM – 6PM, 7AM-7PM)
Shift typically ranges 8-12 hours, depending on the plant volume.

Responsibilities Include:
- Operates all processes in a safe manner and within HSE rules and regulations
- Ability to perform all job functions of a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician I
- Performs electrical repair of all equipment associated with operations.
- Supports IT with computer and network installations, troubleshooting and repair.
- Replace fuses, breakers and other electrical safety devices.
- Runs conduit and runs wire to devices consistent with NEC code.
- Changes motor starters and work on MCC components.
- Electrical troubleshooting experience with control power, 3-phase electrical power systems, and analog devices.
- Assists with and/or performs minor instrumentation functions.
- Operates in compliance with all health, safety and environmental rules and regulations
- Performs regulatory inspections and maintenance of equipment and documents such as assigned per regulatory requirements.
- Participates in plant wide HSE, quality and productivity initiatives.
- Voluntarily participation on the Safety Team on a rotating basis.
- Participates in HSE improvement activities (Toolbox meetings, Behavioral Based Safety (BBS), hazard ID’s, near misses, safety work orders, job safety analysis (JSA), Is It Safe Tour and computer-based safety training)
- Communicates, promotes and personally demonstrates Safety/Health (including the HSE Essentials) as the #1 priority.
- Completes HSE training requirements for the job timely.
- Demonstrates commitment to HSE Essentials in everyday activities.
- Follow plant safety rules and wear required PPE:
- Report all injuries, illnesses, or incidents immediately or as soon as it’s safe to do so.
- Come to work Fit for Duty and be focused on working safely.
- Understand and support Potters Essentials Behavioral and Operational Principals.
- Practice good housekeeping and assist with other housekeeping tasks as directed.
- Performs other duties as directed.
Qualifications Required:
Education:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Electromechanical Technical School Degree or Equivalent Experience
Experience:
- Industrial Maintenance Skills; Mechanical, Welding, Electrical - 3 to 5 years of Electromechanical Experience in a Manufacturing Environment Experience (or applicable Electromechanical Technical Degree)
- Understanding Drawings
- Forklift and Scissors lift experience - 3 to 5 years forklift operations and/or certification preferred
Skills/Knowledge:
- Experience in plant safety systems such as Confined Space entry, Hot Work permitting and Lockout/Tagout of industrial equipment.
- Basic skills in areas of industrial electromechanical equipment troubleshooting and repairs, running conduit, terminating wires, reading drawings, pipe fitting, minor metal fabrication (including welding), and proper use of mechanical tools.

Environment:
This position is designated as safety-sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
- Plant Environment with extreme heat temperatures
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift, walk, bend, twist, reach, push and squat most of the workday.
- Ability to lift between 25-50 pounds
- The ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and /or sounds (e.g., machinery alarms or alarms) in moderate to loud work environment.
