What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packaging Technician position at Potters Industries Inc?
Hours are 5AM-3:30PM Sunday-Wednesday OR 5AM-3:30PM Wednesday - Saturday
This position pays $18.75 per hour
Job Summary
Perform tasks to ensure the packaging requirements of the finished bead product lines are met in accordance with the plant production schedule and other established operating parameters/performance measures.
- Assemble and package products according to company standards and specifications
- Operate packaging machinery and equipment
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
Requirements:
Highschool diploma or GED
1 year of industrial experience
- Mechanical knowledge and aptitude for operating machinery
- Ability to use hand tools effectively
- Experience operating a forklift is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
