STEM-X is an exploratory, project-based, one week summer program for students entering grades 4-8. STEM-X is looking for exciting new classes taught by teachers who want to share their passion for learning!
STEM-X 2025 is at Blevins Middle School June 9th-13th from 8-3:30 for teachers. The camp will be a full day camp from 8:30-3 for the campers. Teachers will be compensated $1500 for the week. This stipend is comprehensive and covers time spent in the onboarding meetings, course planning, and teaching the course.
We welcome educator applicants from both inside and outside of PSD. Please note, we believe STEM fields are inclusive, and we welcome teachers of art, music, literature, and other disciplines to which a STEM connection can be made in addition to traditional STEM teachers.
Camp staff are selected according to the program needs, the proposed class, and the match of the candidate to the program.
STEM-X teachers must have at minimum a Colorado Substitute License.
