What are the responsibilities and job description for the Applicant Pool - Speech Language Pathology Intern position at Poudre School District?
To become a Speech Language Pathology intern in Poudre School District, you must complete the Speech Language Pathology Intern application. This application is for placements starting in fall 2025.
To be considered for Speech Language Pathology intern placement in one of our schools, you should:
- be entering your final semester/year of a Speech Language Pathology/Communication Disorders program
- be able to pass a criminal background check, including submitting a complete set of fingerprints with the Colorado Department of Education/PSD
- be enrolled in a college/university that has a signed internship agreement with PSD (see below)
Placements will be completed with the following criteria:
- availability of qualified staff/educator(s) in requested areas
- willingness of schools/staff to take an intern
- outcome of internship interview between principal, lead/supervisor, and prospective intern
