What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custom Applicator position at Poudre Valley Coop?
Poudre Valley Coop has an immediate opening for 2 Custom Applicator positions, located in Fort Collins, CO.
We are a full-service local cooperative, located on the Front Range of Colorado, with diverse clientele and demographics.
What you will do:
· Operate all spray and dry equipment
· Operate computers on equipment
· Spray and calibrate crop protection products
· Mixing, loading, and application of crop production products/plant nutritional’s
· Perform daily vehicle inspections
· Handle and deliver bulk and packaged materials, seed and other agriculture inputs
· Clean and help maintain equipment
· Maintain application/spray records
· Perform other duties as assigned
What you will bring:
· High School diploma/GED required
· Agricultural background preferred but not necessary
· Valid Class A driver's license minimum & applicable endorsements
· Current CDL, or ability to obtain; we will train the right candidate
· Must meet minimum DOT age requirement
· Obtain a Colorado Commercial Applicator License
Wage range is $20 - $25 /hour based on experience
