What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tire Technician/Lube Technician position at Poudre Valley Coop?
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience with diesel engines and industrial equipment. This role is crucial in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet, contributing to the overall success of our operations.
Duties:
- Mount/dismount, balance and install a variety of tires including but not limited to agricultural, industrial, commercial, and passenger vehicle type tires.
- Diagnose and repair tire pressure monitoring systems. Perform basic preventative maintenance inspections on passenger vehicles including light trucks.
- Perform oil change services on customer vehicles.
- Cleaning duties include but are not limited to sweeping, mopping, windows, mirrors, bathroom, shop equipment, and work areas.
Qualifications:
- Basic automotive mechanical knowledge.
- Team oriented self starter.
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Training provided through Tire Industry Association (TIA).
- Valid driver's license preferred.
