Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and innovative Architectural Designer to join our dynamic team. This role requires proficiency in various design software and an ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members throughout the design process.
Responsibilities
- Develop architectural designs and detailed drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Rhinoceros 3D.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, translating them into design concepts.
- Create 3D models and renderings to visualize projects using Grasshopper and other graphic design tools.
- Draft construction documents and specifications, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Conduct site visits to assess project feasibility and gather necessary information for designs.
- Work closely with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success from conception through completion.
- Utilize Bluebeam for document management and collaboration during the design review process.
- Participate in project presentations, providing clear explanations of design choices to clients.
Experience
- Proficiency in architectural design software including AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, SolidWorks, and Grasshopper is essential.
- Experience in interior design or mechanical design is a plus.
- Strong drafting skills with attention to detail in creating accurate construction documents.
- Familiarity with graphic design principles to enhance presentations and visual communications.
- A degree in Architecture or a related field is preferred, along with relevant internship or professional experience in architectural design.
