Key Responsibilities
- Guest Reception: Warmly greet guests upon arrival and seat them in a timely and organized manner.
- Waitlist Management: Provide accurate wait times and manage the waitlist efficiently.
- Restaurant Layout Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of the restaurant’s layout, table availability, and seating capacities.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with guests and relay important information to servers and management.
- Guest Accommodation: Accommodate special requests and preferences whenever possible.
- Reservation Coordination: Assist in coordinating reservations and managing online booking platforms.
- Host Stand Maintenance: Keep the host stand area clean and organized.
- Overall Cleanliness: Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the restaurant.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a host/hostess or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle high-volume periods.
- Friendly and outgoing personality with a genuine desire to provide exceptional service.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
