Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Outside Sales, Events, and Catering Marketing Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for driving new business, booking events and catering services, and enhancing our presence within the community. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong sales acumen, and a proven track record in event planning and marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients to generate new business opportunities.
- Achieve or exceed individual sales goals and ancillary service goals.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Conduct outside sales calls, attend networking events, and leverage various channels to promote The Pour House's offerings.
Event and Catering Management:
- Oversee the planning and execution of events and catering services, ensuring exceptional customer experiences.
- Manage event logistics, including coordination with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Execute events on-site to ensure flawless operations and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a database of clients and create accurate operational transaction records.
Marketing and Community Engagement:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and community engagement.
- Collaborate with the team to create promotional materials and campaigns.
- Represent The Pour House at community events and industry functions to strengthen local partnerships.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or above in business, event coordinating, culinary arts, hospitality, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in sales, hospitality, or event planning.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
Compensation:
- Base salary ranging from $38,000 to $50,000, commensurate with experience.
- 10% commission on sales, with sales expectations of $100,000.
- You could earn up to $60,000 annually by meeting minimum sales standards but there is no cap on compensation based on commission!
