Dates : ESY 4 Week Session
Students : June 24th- July 23rd - 20 days
Teachers : June 23rd - July 23rd (July 24 optional for break down)
IAs : June 23rd - July 23rd
6 week session High School Academic Review - L ELA, L Math, or Learning Strategies
Students : June 18th- July 31st (confirmed gen ed summer school dates)
Teachers : June 17th-July 31st (Aug 1 optional for break down)
IAs : June 17th-July 31st
ESY 4 Week Session : June 24th- July 25th
6 week session : June 18th- July 31st
Priority consideration for these positions will be given to current employees of the District.
Please note the following information for application priority placements :
- Applications received by 3 / 1 / 2025 will have first priority placement and all effort will be made to match site and program preferences.
- Applications received between 3 / 1 / 2025 and 3 / 31 / 2025 will be placed in accordance with the needs of the program. Site and program preferences will be referenced, but not guaranteed.
- Applications received 4 / 1 / 2025 and after will be placed in accordance with the needs of the program.

ESY opportunities are initially ONLY open to PUSD permanent, contracted employees or current / eligible PUSD substitutes who have reached Permanency (passed probation) with the District. After April 1, it is open to non-classified PUSD candidates. A permanent employee is defined as an employee who has completed a probationary trial period in the class to which assigned or who entered the class by transfer, demotion, or reinstatement / reemployment without serving a probationary period. A trial period of six months (or 130 working days, whichever is longer) before being advanced into permanent status in the District.
