Requirements
Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Coordinator
Department: Workplace Operations
Status: Seasonal PT, Hourly
Reporting To: Workplace Manager
Position Summary: The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator will coordinate and manage the incoming and outgoing flow and distribution of shipments as well as assisting with other tasks as assigned.
Job Performance Expectations:
- Coordinate shipping / receiving for the resort
- Managing shipping room
- Ability to work 5 days a week and/or weekends (as needed)
- Distributing and delivering of packages
- Lifting over 50lbs
- Driving in harsh weather conditions
- Assisting other teams (as needed)
- Receiving, unload deliveries for Food & Beverage department and other teams
- ~30/hr week (Seasonal Full Time)
- Deliver exceptional guest service to internal and external guests.
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Clean driving record, experienced driving in snow condition while committed to safety
- Previous hospitality and/or ski resort operations (preferred)
- Proficient in Google Suites software (preferred)
- Previous shipping & receiving experience (preferred)
- Must be highly detail oriented and organized
- Exceptional customer service
- Excellent communication and ability to remain enthusiastic during peak season
- Reliable transportation, or commitment to using UTA
- Ability to work outside and withstand exposure to various weather conditions such as snowstorms, etc.
- Ability to work, weekends, holiday, evenings, on call
Physical Requirements - Must be able to perform physical activities such as, but not limited to:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
- Comfort working in a variety of weather conditions.
Working Environment: Work will primarily be performed indoors and will require some work and travel while outside, subject to environmental conditions during the winter season.
