Position Summary:
The VP of Club Operations at Powder Mountain is a strategic and operational leader dedicated to delivering an exceptional experience for club members. This role encompasses oversight of key areas in Membership, including events, activities, programs, outdoor pursuits, Concierge services, Haven Rentals, and Club Operations at both Haven and Landing. Additionally, the VP leads member communications and technology platforms, while fostering a sense of community and acting as the community ambassador for the club. By optimizing operations and enhancing engagement, this role ensures every aspect of Club Operations reflects excellence, innovation, and the unique culture of Powder Mountain. From daily yoga sessions to exclusive New Year's Eve celebrations, kids programming, and summer camp, the VP ensures every touchpoint reflects excellence, community, and engagement. This leader will drive membership growth, retention, and satisfaction through innovative programming and operational excellence while fostering a welcoming and vibrant community for members.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
- Direct all aspects of Club Operations, including Haven and Landing facilities, ensuring efficient and seamless delivery of services.
- Oversee Concierge services and Haven Rentals, maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence.
Event and Program Management:
- Lead the planning and execution of a diverse calendar of Member events, activities, and programs that reflect Powder Mountain's community ethos.
- Incorporate outdoor pursuits and family-oriented programming to enhance member engagement.
Operational Development & Oversight:
- Manage and optimize Concierge operations, ensuring seamless delivery of personalized services.
- Oversee Property Management and internal rentals, maintaining quality standards and operational efficiency.
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team across all functions of the Membership Department.
- Foster a collaborative, customer-focused culture within the team.
Event Programming:
- Lead the planning and execution of diverse events, from daily yoga sessions to major celebrations such as New Year's Eve.
- Expand kids programming and summer camp offerings to enhance family engagement.
Member Experience:
- Continuously enhance the member experience through feedback, innovative programming, and exceptional service delivery.
- Act as a primary ambassador for the membership community, promoting engagement and connection.
Financial and Performance Management:
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with organizational goals.
- Track and analyze performance metrics, including member satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- 10 years proven experience in a leadership role overseeing membership programs, hospitality, or luxury services.
- Strong background in event planning, customer experience, and operational management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for building relationships and fostering community.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to balance big-picture goals and day-to-day operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
