Position Summary
Responsible for operating a cash register, collecting money, and making change for food and beverage purchases, focusing on exceptional customer service and working safely.
Primary Responsibilities/Duties
- Receives payment for food and beverage items by cash, check, credit/debit card, or voucher
- Issues receipts, refunds, credits, discounts or change due to customers
- Ensures that cash register has adequate cash/change available; notifies supervisor in advance of cash/change shortfall
- Responsible for the security of the register; never leaves the register unattended when logged in, and never shares login information with others
- Verifies cash at the beginning and end of each shift
- Other duties as assigned within the Food & Beverage area, including restocking and food/beverage delivery

Work Environment
This position is based both inside and outside and is exposed to temperature extremes (above 85 degrees and below 20 degrees), sun and wind, inclement weather (rain, snow, ice) and high altitudes (8200 feet). Must be able to walk on both even and uneven terrain, climb/descend stairs, stand and/or sit for long periods of time, bend, stoop, and lift up to 10 pounds.
