JOB SUMMARY:
The Retail Department is a fun and exciting way to join the ski industry and the Monarch family. The Retail Sales Clerk should have a positive attitude, attention to detail, cash handling and sales experience, and be customer focused. This position will work directly with our guests in providing product information, processing sales, store maintenance and stocking, and issuance of retail rentals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
The Retail Sales Clerk responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Maintain a good working knowledge of all merchandise sold in the shop as well as general knowledge of all Monarch Mountain services.
- Work as a team with other members of the Retail Department to provide exceptional service.
- Assist guests with the fulfillment and processing of purchases.
- Accurately operate the register and credit card machine.
- Price, tag, stock and display merchandise as needed.
- Take inventory of all merchandise as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum Age: 16
- Legal citizen of the United States or possess other proper work permit authentication.
- Prior retail and cash handling experience preferred.
- Ability to push, lift, and move up to 30 lbs.
- Requires to standing at a workstation for long periods of time; keying, grasping, reaching, hearing and speaking clearly, and visual acuity.
- Requires working at high elevation (up to 12,000’), with extended exposure to adverse weather conditions, such as severe cold, heavy snowfall, rain, strong winds and intense sun.
JOB TYPE: Winter Seasonal, Full and Part Time
