Responsibilities:
- Schedule kitchen staff for peak hours, events, and group bookings.
- Monitor kitchen equipment and report maintenance needs.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness, organization, and sanitation practices.
- Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement inventory management systems.
- Track food costs, waste, and portions for profitability.
- Conduct regular safety training sessions and lead ongoing training for kitchen staff.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a leadership role within a commercial kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, kitchen equipment, and health/safety standards.
- Proven ability to manage a team and lead by example.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
