The Facility Tech – Level I will be an essential Woodward Park City’s Base Operations team member, reporting to the Woodward Park City Base Operations Manager. The successful applicant will be a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual who will ensure that we maintain operational readiness, cleanliness, and presentation at our facilities while providing excellent customer service. While every day is different, and our roles may shift based on business needs, here is what you can expect to dive into in this role as a Facility Tech – Level 1:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for presenting Woodward Park City’s indoor & outdoor facilities, including buildings, grounds, and various action sport zones.- Perform cleaning and custodial duties such as emptying trash cans and pressure washing around grounds and in the facilities.
Maintenance: Support the maintenance of facilities, including buildings, grounds, and action sports zones—both indoors and outdoors (concrete and asphalt).
- Perform routine planned maintenance on Woodward Park City assets.
- Make general repairs & improvements, including painting and drywall patching.
- Carry out landscape maintenance such as sprinkler repairs and weeding.
- Operate and maintain various hand, power, and small machinery necessary for daily facility upkeep.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment and report issues promptly for repair or escalation.
- Document maintenance activities and complete services using a computerized maintenance management system.
- Assist with special project work.
Operations: Provide essential support to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operations.
- Support parking operations by controlling flow, communicating and directing guests, and adjusting signage.
- Snow removal from parking lots, walkways, stairs, and decks utilizes snowplows, shovels, snowblowers, and salt spreaders.
- Be a flexible support to various events, operations, and projects.
Customer Service: Provide friendly, professional, and responsive customer service to guests, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and courteous manner.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while performing cleaning and maintenance tasks, ensuring your safety, that of your colleagues, and that of your guests.
- Safely use chemicals, equipment, and tools with daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
- Follow established guidelines and regulations to maintain compliance with health and safety standards.
- Use proper personal protective equipment.
- Report incidents and hazardous conditions to leadership.
Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and learn new skills.
Assist with Base Operations duties as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
BASIC SCHEDULE/REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Experience working in facility/building maintenance is preferred.
- Experience in ground maintenance, including landscape and snow removal operations, is preferred.
- Knowledge of using a computerized maintenance management system is helpful but not a requirement.
- Proven ability to collaborate well across functions and departments and work as a team.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to make quick decisions regarding safety.
- Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand for long periods of time, lift 50lbs.
- Must be comfortable working in an outdoor , all-season environment.
- Must be comfortable working at heights.
