TITLE: Programming and Partnerships Summer Events Assistant
LOCATION: Snowbird
STATUS: Hourly, Full Time, Seasonal (June 1 – October 30, 2025)
SCHEDULE: Mostly Thursday - Monday. Schedule will vary based on programming.
SUMMARY
As a team member of the Events & Partnerships Department, the Programming and Partnerships Summer Events Assistant will support in and perform duties associated with all aspects of summer events and activations at Snowbird. The Programming and Partnerships Summer Events Assistant will work under the direction of the Events & Partnerships Manager and closely with the Events & Partnerships Operations Specialist. This entry-level role is best suited for someone with interest in events, marketing and the outdoor industry. This is a full-time, seasonal position from June – October with weekends and holidays required.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Assist and execute all given tasks associated with special events, programming and partnerships at Snowbird
- Communicate regularly with internal and external teams to stay organized and aligned on plans and strategies
- Work with other resort departments to build and breakdown event footprint
- Organize, maintain and replace event assets and inventory as necessary
- Make pick-ups and deliveries for resort-related materials including signage, swag and equipment
- Assist in the planning and completion of partnership deliverables and activations
- Assist in event recaps by giving personal insights, opinions and observations
- Perform non-event related tasks as they arise at the resort and within the marketing department
WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 1-2 years of experience in events, marketing or partnerships.
- A passion for the outdoors and elevating the guest experience through events, programming and partnership integration.
- Ability to competently undertake some physical work in a dynamic environment in all weather conditions with a can-do attitude, attention to detail, a happy disposition and a safety-conscious mindset.
- Experience in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.
- Outgoing personality that can interact with team members, guests, resort employees and outside parties in friendly and professional manner.
- Ability to think quickly to find solutions to problems as they arise.
- Humble and willing to learn; not afraid to ask for help.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with many pivots and meet deadlines consistently.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Valid Driver’s License with clean MVR (driving record).
WORK SCHEDULE
- Mostly Thursday - Monday. Schedule will vary based on programming.
- Full-time, seasonal. Position ends in October 2025.
- This position is in-person at Snowbird.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- May experience unusual stress from high business volumes, deadlines, continual work with public, winter conditions, snow night requirements and commuting to/from Snowbird.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Work is subject to frequent interruptions making continuity and accuracy difficult, frequent exposure to noise.
- Work is outdoors and requires constant exposure to cold/hot and other extreme weather conditions.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must demonstrate ability to bend, kneel, handle, reach, grasp and perform repetitive motions.
- Must be able to walk on slippery surfaces of snow and ice.
- Must be able to walk over uneven, uphill/downhill areas.
- Must be able to ascend and descend stairs.
- Must be able to walk through deep snow, occasionally.
