What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dump Truck Operator position at Powell and Sons Construction?
Job Description
The ideal candidate will operate a tri-axle dump truck to transport product to customers and stockpile it at middle Tennessee quarries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive a tri-axle dump truck to deliver product to customers and stockpile it at designated locations.
- Possibly work at construction job sites performing haul-off, spreading, and paving tasks.
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of product.
Requirements:
- Hold a valid CDL Class A or B license with 2 years of experience.
- Prior dump truck experience is preferred but training may be provided.
- MVR checks will be conducted as part of the hiring process.

- 11-hour shifts per day.
- 55 hours per week.
- Monday through Friday.
- 05:00 am start time.
Additional Information:
CDL B license holders with 2 years of experience in operating heavy-duty trucks are encouraged to apply. Training for new hires may be provided for those without prior experience.
