We're seeking a skilled Industrial Facility Maintenance Specialist who thrives in performing comprehensive maintenance tasks across various specialties. Available Shifts:
Morning Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm (overtime available)
Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday, 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm (overtime available)

Role Overview

Taking charge of facility upkeep, you'll manage the operation, servicing, and amending of multiple systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical infrastructures. Conduct regular site evaluations, address mechanical issues proactively, and sustain a clean and efficient environment. Partake in new installations and stock management alongside initiating collaborations with external contractors. A keen technical mind, the ability to self-direct, and attention to fine detail will mark your success.

Main Duties

• Partake in varied maintenance work, spanning carpentry to electrical and plumbing.
• Repair minor plumbing faults and address electrical issues like lighting fixes.
• Prepare office spaces with sheetrock and painting tasks.
• Engage cooperatively with the maintenance team and assist in various projects.

Eligibility Requirements

Studies & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of four years in facilities maintenance positions

Skills & Techniques:

• Operating shop machinery including sanders and forklifts effectively.
• Sound understanding of industrial electrical integrating and fixing.
• Commitment to safety and procedural adherence.
• Clear communication is critical, mastery of English is mandatory.
• Capability to navigate team dynamics and independent tasks efficiently.

Work and Physical Conditions

Operational Setting:

• Engage in warehouse and plant settings, temp-controlled but occasionally outdoor.
• Less than 5% offsite Houston visits required.

Physical Demands:

• Retain balance during movements such as walking, crouching, and using stairs.
• Regularly bend and lift considerable weights (over 60 lbs).
• Manual dexterity necessary for repetitive hand tasks.
