Job Title: Aggregate Laborer
Compensation: $17- $21 per hour
Job Description:
Power & Construction Group, Inc. is currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Laborer at Valley Sand and Gravel. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily maintenance of the production plant, ensuring its optimal functioning and cleanliness. Reporting to the Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in supporting plant success through various laborer duties.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily maintenance tasks, including greasing, checking guarding, belt tracking, and cleanup.
- Report any irregularities to the Superintendent promptly.
- Operate loaders and engage in general labor tasks such as shoveling and hand loading.
- Conduct general cleanup of the aggregate plant to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
- Assist in various laborer duties as assigned by the manager.
Requirements:
- Ability to shovel, sweep, lift, and climb within the yard.
- Maintain the yard and plant, ensuring it is neat and free from debris.
- Assist plant operators with maintenance duties, including greasing, plant repairs, etc.
- Operate water trucks and may be trained to operate forklifts, loaders, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications:
- Any offer of employment is contingent upon passing a DOT Physical, drug screen, background check, and driver's license check.
- Candidates must maintain passing results throughout the term of employment with P&CG.
