Responsibilities:
- Operate equipment around live utilities.
- Perform routine inspection and maintenance on equipment and tools.
- Employee reports directly to job site on a daily basis
Requirements:
- NGA Op Qualifications at operator level.
- Previous experience operating around live utilities.
- Must be able to demonstrate skills in the safe operation and daily preventative maintenance of backhoes, excavators, loaders, and skid steers.
- Must have hands on experience in digging safely around live utilities.
- Must have experience working safely in traffic zones.
- Have no lifting or physical restrictions.
- OSHA 10 Certification.
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with the public and clients.
- Work outdoors year-round in all types of weather.
- Demonstrate safe and proper use and maintenance of all company tools and equipment.
- Certified Excavator program.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move heavy parts and equipment (up to 50 pounds or more).
- Stamina to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precise tasks.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods.
- Good vision, including close-up and peripheral vision, for detailed inspections.
- Hearing ability to diagnose engine and equipment noises.
