This role will help design and implement complex, unique solutions with our customers. Safety, reliability, and adherence to industry best practices are paramount in this critical role.
Specific duties of this role will include, but not be limited to:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot substation control systems, including:
- Protective relays
- SCADA systems
- RTUs (Remote Terminal Units)
- Control panels and wiring
- Meters and instrumentation
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Perform routine inspections, testing, and calibration of control equipment
- Identify and diagnose malfunctions in control systems and components
- Repair or replace faulty equipment and components
- Complete detailed work orders and maintain accurate records
- Adhere to all safety regulations and lock-out/tag-out procedures, as well as adhering to customer specific standards.
- Participate in on-call rotation for emergency response
Requirements:
- Adequate physical ability.
- Mechanical skills.
- Blueprint reading.
- Project layout skills.
- Conduit bending (both power and hand bending).
- Conduit threading (both power and hand threading).
- Experience in building services.
- Layout of underground services.
- Basic computer skills.

- Demonstrates the ability to think ahead, plan within timelines and resources, develop scopes, plan and schedule work, set priorities and goals, participate in problem-solving, and adjust for problems.

Compensation:
- $30-$50 per hour based on experience plus prevailing wage opportunities
