We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Drafting Specialist to join our team. Our team is a Mission Critical MEP consulting engineering firm specializing in Data Center Design. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting using AutoCAD, with a preference for proficiency in Revit. The Drafting Specialist will play a crucial role in creating accurate and detailed Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Low Voltage and Security drawings to support various projects within the organization.
Responsibilities
Drafting and Design - Produce detailed and precise 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD and Revit. Collaborate with project teams to understand design requirements and specifications. Ensure drawings adhere to industry standards, codes, and regulations.
Collaboration
Work closely with architects, engineers, and other team members to incorporate design changes and updates. Participate in design review meetings and contribute insights to enhance the quality of drawings.
Quality Assurance
Conduct thorough reviews of project drawings to identify and rectify errors or discrepancies.
Ensure drawings meet the organization's quality standards and project requirements.
Software Proficiency
Utilize AutoCAD and Revit software to their full potential in creating accurate and efficient drawings. Stay updated on the latest software developments and industry trends.
Continuous Improvement
Actively seek opportunities to enhance drafting processes and improve efficiency. Provide input on best practices for drafting and design within the organization.
Qualifications
Minimum of One (1) years of experience in drafting using AutoCAD.
Proficiency in Revit is preferred.
Strong understanding of architectural and engineering principles.

Familiarity with construction codes and regulations.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
Education
