Job Description
The role of Electrical Transmission Supervisor is a critical position in the construction, maintenance and repair of overhead electrical transmission systems. As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for overseeing various locations, coordinating with customers and managing a team of skilled linemen, apprentices and groundmen. This supervisory role requires strong leadership skills, effective communication and the ability to work well under pressure.
In this position, you will be responsible for:
- Leading a team of linemen, apprentices and groundmen on electrical transmission projects
- Coordinating with customers to understand their needs and requirements
- Managing the safe execution of electrical transmission projects, including working on energized and de-energized systems
- Supervising and guiding the work of junior employees, providing technical guidance and mentorship
- Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and procedures, including OSHA and DOT regulations
You will be required to have a valid CDL and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Additionally, you must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, often traveling to different locations and working long hours.
Requirements:
- 8 years minimum recent field experience
- Valid CDL
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds

Physical Requirements:
- Able to perform rigorous physical labor for extended periods
- Must be able to work outside, frequently in inclement weather
