Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Transmission System Foreman to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of skilled linemen, apprentices and groundmen on electrical transmission projects. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and requirements, and ensure the safe execution of projects.
As a Transmission System Foreman, you will be responsible for:
- Leading a team of linemen, apprentices and groundmen on electrical transmission projects
- Coordinating with customers to understand their needs and requirements
- Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and procedures, including OSHA and DOT regulations
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior employees
You will be required to have a valid CDL and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Additionally, you must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, often traveling to different locations and working long hours.
Requirements:
- 8 years minimum recent field experience
- Valid CDL
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements:
- Able to perform rigorous physical labor for extended periods
- Must be able to work outside, frequently in inclement weather
- Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
