Audio Visual Programmer Job Description

Position Overview: The Audiovisual Programmer will be responsible for programming, configuring, and maintaining audiovisual control systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C# programming, experience with control systems, and a deep understanding of integrated AV systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and program control systems for audiovisual installations
• Configure and integrate AV systems, including video conferencing, digital signage, and DSP systems.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and deliver customized solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AV systems and control programming.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for all programming and system configurations.
• Conduct system testing and quality assurance to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide training and support to clients and end-users on the operation of AV systems.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve programming skills and system integration techniques.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in programming with C# and Crestron SIMPL Windows
• Proven experience with web technology such as HTML5 and JavaScript
• Experience with Lua (Q-SYS) and PowerShell
• Strong knowledge of audiovisual control systems (e.g., Crestron, AMX, Extron, QSC).
• Experience with integrated AV systems and their components.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Crestron Masters Certified Programmer (certified after 2019 or after taking metal exam in the last 5 years)

• Q-SYS Level 2 and Control 201
