We are looking for a Strategic Sourcing Analyst to join our procurement team. In this role, you will manage material and equipment buyouts for mechanical and plumbing systems used in multi-family and commercial projects across the nation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to drive efficient and cost-effective procurement processes while following established best practices and supplier agreements. This position is based at our corporate headquarters in St. Petersburg, FL.

- Support material and equipment procurement for multi-family and commercial projects across the U.S.
- Partner with project management, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate regional material buyouts.
- Develop and maintain relationships with operations to ensure timely execution of bids and purchase orders.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
- Gain expertise in procurement categories and guide employees on adhering to best practices and leveraging preferred suppliers.
- Coordinate bid processes, including creating e-sourcing events, updating templates, and summarizing reports.
- Compile and analyze spend and bid data using Excel and database tools for reporting purposes.
- Recommend and implement improvements to procurement processes, reporting, and best practices.
- Collaborate with assigned mentors to develop skills in procurement, category management, and supplier negotiations.
here’s what we’re looking for…
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain, Finance, or a technical field, with 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with a proactive approach to supplier negotiation.
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with firm deadlines.
- Experience in or knowledge of the construction industry is a plus.
