The Process Engineer will play a critical role in the development and continuous improvement of production processes. This role will involve implementing new production lines, maintaining existing workflows, and adapting processes. Reporting directly to the Process Engineering Manager, the Process Engineer will also be responsible for designing improvements and ensuring smooth operations.
Position Responsibilities
- Implementing new production lines and adapting processes.
- Continuously improving existing production lines for enhanced efficiency and product quality.
- Designing and maintaining the layout of the shop floor to optimize space and workflow.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with production associates and leads to ensure smooth collaboration and communication.
- Conducting time studies, data analysis, and experimentation to identify areas of improvement.
- Analyzing production data and utilizing it as a baseline for comparing changes and measuring success.
- Providing training and development to production associates as needed.
- Troubleshooting and making inventory adjustments to resolve complex problems within the production process.
- Actively seeking opportunities for process improvements and providing ideas for effective execution.
- Strong background in process engineering or a related field.
- Experience in manufacturing engineering or industrial engineering highly preferred.
- Experience in implementing production processes and improving existing ones.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to conduct time studies and data analysis.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with production associates and leads.
- Ability to think critically and propose innovative solutions to improve processes.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Understanding inventory processes and troubleshooting complex production issues.
