What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Applications Engineer - Lighting Controls position at Power Design?
About the Position
Ready to light up your career? We're looking for an experienced pro to coordinate all aspects of Lighting Control in our buildings nationwide. The Lighting Control Solutions Architect will collaborate with teams across the business and use knowledge of high and low voltage systems to move projects forward.
Position Responsibilities
- Work closely with Pre-Construction, Operations, and Field Teams as well as general contractors to plan and install complex Lighting Control systems
- Take ownership of the scope and drive project success by identifying and addressing issues as they arise
- Use experience with part numbers, drawings, and lighting systems to provide quality control oversight at all stages of the project including estimating, design, and production
- Lead meetings with Field and Project Management Teams to introduce systems and provide guidance on installation requirements and best practices
- Travel to jobsites as needed, potentially up to 50% of the time
