This position requires a U.S Person or a person who can qualify for a Department of State or Department of Commerce License.
Position Summary:
PDC is currently seeking a Stock Clerk A to join its growing team. The Stock Clerk A is a senior-level role responsible for advanced inventory management, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring the efficient operation of stockroom processes. This role handles complex inventory tasks and collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
Key Position Accountabilities:
- Oversee and maintain inventory accuracy by leading cycle counts and ensuring compliance with stockroom SOPs.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for inventory processes, providing guidance to Stock Clerks B and C.
- Collaborate with Material Planners and Management to address inventory challenges and improve workflow efficiency.
- Process high-priority Engineering Actions and manage time-sensitive materials, ensuring timely updates to inventory records.
- Monitor and resolve discrepancies in stock records and escalate unresolved issues to management.
- Prepare and release complex kits for Manufacturing, Engineering, and Outsource Suppliers.
Qualifications:
- Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 5 years of inventory management or related experience.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
- Desired Characteristics:
- Ability to identify and resolve process inefficiencies.
- Proficiency with advanced inventory management software.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
