Paint and Coating Technician

Power Driven Diesel, a diesel performance shop located in Cedar City, UT is growing rapidly, and we are looking to add a Paint & Coating Technician to our manufacturing operation. As the Technician develops new skills and subject matter knowledge, additional opportunities may be awarded.

General Information:

· Full-time, 38-42 hours per week

· Schedule: normally day shift, with the possibility of short-term swing shift or overlapping swing shift assignments.

· Wage: Depends on existing skills and experience, with opportunities for advancement depending on performance.

Initial Responsibilities:

· Maintaining shop cleanliness and organization.

· Apply paint and/or Cerakote to automotive components, including engines, transmissions, turbochargers, and piping.

· Assisting with shop improvement projects.

Opportunities for Advancement:

· Oxide Coating

· Nickel Coating

Qualifications:

· 1 year of experience applying paint/cerakote in a professional setting.

· Able to safely perform physical work, including crouching, kneeling, and lifting up to 100 lbs

· Positive and professional attitude: attentive to detail, self-starting, possess a willingness to learn, and be a team player

· Strong work ethic: willing to seek out other assignments or tasks that need to be completed

· Ability to maintain an orderly work area

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 – 42 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
