Overview
Our company Power Driven Diesel started out small, but grew into something much larger thanks to our YouTube channel. Our goal with YouTube is to create engaging, informative videos that showcase our expertise in the diesel industry and highlight our many successful product lines, while delivering a laugh here or there.

We are looking to add a professional Videographer & Editor to our marketing team. This position fluctuates in workload and hours, often depending on the time of year. Travel and odd hours may be required, so we are looking for someone flexible who desires to make a difference at this company.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality video footage for various projects, including promotional videos, how-to instruction, events, and podcasts.
• Edit raw footage into polished final products.
• Collaborate with team members to develop creative concepts and storyboards for video projects (our video meeting is every Tuesday at 10am).
• Incorporate motion graphics, text, and visual effects to enhance video content.
• Conduct post-production tasks including color correction, audio mixing, and final rendering of videos.
• Maintain an organized library of video assets and project files.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in video production and editing.
• Assist in photography tasks as needed to support visual content creation.
• Create "shorts" from long-form videos for cross-posting on other social media platforms.

Requirements

• Proven experience in video production and editing, with a portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Premiere and After Effects; experience with Final Cut Pro is a plus. We are open to other types of editing software as long as the outcome is desirable.
• Strong understanding of post-production processes, including color grading, sound design, and motion graphics.
• Familiarity with photography principles is desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
• A creative mindset with a passion for storytelling through film and video content.
• Schedule flexibility: We often travel throughout the spring and summer to various events and may prefer to have our videographer attend. We may also shoot videos after normal business hours or on a weekend occasionally.
• Ability to utilize footage provided by other team members (typically shot on an iPhone, if the videographer is unable to be present for whatever reason).

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
