Objective : Support the Industrial Supply Division with customer service effort to grow the customer base.
Minimum Requirements :
2 or more years related experience and / or training
Equivalent combination of education and experience
Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
Experience in inside sales is a plus
Experience / familiarity with pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical concepts a plus
Job Requirements :
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Ability to find new growth opportunities with smaller customers
Ability to work in a team environment
Self-starter, with ability to work with minimum supervision
Strong mathematical and reasoning skills
Detail-oriented
Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to work well with tight timelines
Basic knowledge of catalogs and price lists
Familiar with purchasing concepts
Ability to navigate the sales cycle with prospects and customers
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Understand technical and application elements of core product lines
Proactively communicate with customers regarding order status and inquiry follow-up
Provide to customers : product pricing, availability / shipment information, competitive crossover in a timely manner
Review customer orders and expedite as necessary
Enter and follow up on customer quotations, orders and returns
Accurately purchase material that is sent to customers on direct shipments
Keep abreast of all ERP system changes
Proactively request training or tools that will enable you to perform your job better
Crossover non-core product to core when possible
Maintain a high sense of urgency in responding to all customers
Other duties as assigned
Pay : $19.00 - $26.00 per hour
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries / hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
