Objective : Monitor the supplier base to provide an un-interrupted flow of materials, machinery, and services in a manner which provides the best value to the organization. The successful candidate will work at every level of the organization and the supplier’s organization to bring the commodity performance to the highest possible level in the areas of on time delivery and quality.
Minimum Requirements :
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3 years related experience
- Certification in purchasing, production control, or supply chain management is preferred

Develop partnerships with suppliers to ensure a continuous improvement process is in place to optimize lead time reductions, technology and new product development, quality, and communicationNegotiate supply agreements to protect price, delivery, and availability of materialsAchieve targeted annual cost savings for materialsInterprets, defines, and communicates material requirements to suppliers using technical expertiseBuys goods and service using the organizations ERP system (Adonix) in a timely mannerCoordinates material requirements with material control people and procures materials in a timely and economic mannerCoordinates inter-organizational and internal orders in the ERP systemPromotes an atmosphere that facilitates open and effective communicationInvestigates new suppliers including performing systems auditsPerform other functions as requiredPay Range : $58,000 to $79,000 a year
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries / hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
