Job Summary of Roles and Responsibilities:
POWER Engineers, member of WSP is seeking a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer to work in our Generation Electrical Department. Openings are available for the Boise, ID; Overland Park (Kansas City), KS; and Oradell, NJ offices.

Job Summary of Roles and Responsibilities:
POWER Engineers, member of WSP is seeking a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer to work in our Generation Electrical Department. Openings are available for the Boise, ID; Overland Park (Kansas City), KS; and Oradell, NJ offices.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead and support electrical engineer on design of power generation projects
- Lead and support electrical engineer on the design of renewable energy projects
- Lead and support electrical engineer on power plant and switchyard electrical system upgrades
- Lead and support electrical engineer on federal electrical system upgrades
- Mentor and teach junior engineers
- Project proposal and budget development
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- Electrical PE License
- 6-8 years of detailed electrical design engineering experience, including calculations, equipment specifications, etc.
- 5 years of relay coordination and schematic design
- CAD, Microsoft Office, and ETAP or SKM software experience
- Master of Science or MBA
- Previous experience leading a group of engineers is a plus
- 5 years of detailed design engineering experience in generating facilities and/or substations is a plus
- 5 years of owners engineering experience in generating facilities and/or substations is a plus
