POWER Engineers, member of WSP. is seeking an Entry Level Electrical Engineer to work in our Generation Electrical Department. Openings are available for the Boise, ID; Overland Park (Kansas City), KS; and Oradell, NJ offices.

Job Summary of Roles and Responsibilities:
POWER Engineers, member of WSP. is seeking an Entry Level Electrical Engineer to work in our Generation Electrical Department. Openings are available for the Boise, ID; Overland Park (Kansas City), KS; and Oradell, NJ offices.
Responsibilities include:
- Detailed design of generating plant and renewable energy electrical systems under the supervision of a lead electrical engineer
- Electrical system upgrades under the supervision of a lead electrical engineer
- Typical tasks include the development of one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, conduit and cable sizing and routing, panel schedules, material take-offs, and writing of specifications
- 0-2 years experience
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills
- Desired Education/Experience
- Student membership in IEEE
- AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and ETAP or SKM software experience
- EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certificate
- Construction experience, including electrical construction, would be a plus
- Intern experience in the design or operation of generating or heavy industrial facilities would be a plus
- Intern experience at a Consulting Engineering firm would be a plus
