Senior Air Quality Project Manager
POWER Engineers, a member of WSP, is seeking a highly motivated Senior Air Quality Project Manager to join the Air Quality and Related Environmental Group.

The Senior Air Quality Project Manager manages air quality projects and works with teams on complex environmental projects. In addition to executing project work, the Senior Air Quality Project Manager is involved in business development activities and proposal writing. The successful candidate will be able to conduct and manage a myriad of air quality permitting and compliance projects primarily for industrial clients.
Roles and Responsibilities
Prepares proposals for air quality permitting and environmental support projectsManages projects and tasks related to complex air quality permitting and compliance servicesAssists clients in determining federal and state air quality regulatory applicability and develops strategies and systems for complianceInterfaces with State air quality agencies and EPA on behalf of clientsWorks collaboratively with POWER colleagues, external companies, and attorneys in support of clients' air quality needsAdvocates for POWER's clients, keeping them informed of pertinent regulatory matters and other issues that impact their businessParticipates in public meetings and hearings on behalf of clientsCalculates emissions and evaluates air emissions control technologiesParticipate in environmental compliance auditsPerforms and ensures QA / QC of technical workMentors POWER's technical staff for their professional developmentDevelops business for POWER by networking through face-to-face visits with potential clients and participating in professional trade associations by attending conferences, tradeshows, and webinarsSupports business development activities by helping to develop internal marketing materials and contributes technical articles to POWER publicationsRequired Education / Experience
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related science or engineeringTen to fifteen (10-15) years of air permitting and compliance experience in TexasExcellent interpersonal and communications skills including report writing, oral presentations, and direct verbal communicationExperience in interpreting and developing compliance strategies for State and Federal air quality regulations and proven problem-solving skillsAvailability to travel up to 20% of the timeValid State driver's licensePreferred Experience

Salary DOE : The pay range for this position is $130K- $160K per year; however, base pay may be higher or lower depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This figure does not include additional compensation such as health benefits, vacation, 401k, etc.
Salary : $130,000 - $160,000
