Job Description:
We're seeking a skilled Transmission Line Design Engineer to join our Overhead Transmission design team. As a key member of our team, you'll work on challenging projects and initiatives that make a real difference.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and workflows.
- Lead initial project execution to ensure efficient and effective plans are established.
- Manage engineers, drafters, and designers on small to medium-sized engineering projects.
- Interface directly with clients and coordinate project status updates.
- Maintain thorough communication across multi-discipline projects, both internal and external.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Office software suite.
- At least 2 years of experience in overhead High Voltage and Extra High Voltage transmission line design, including route selection, line and structure spotting, structure design and analysis, and development of construction bid packages.
- PLS-CADD proficiency.
- Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE) passed and registered as Engineer-In-Training (EIT).
