Job Summary of Roles and Responsibilities :
POWER Engineers is currently seeking a talented structural engineering student for a June 2025 summer internship in our Pacific Civil Structural Substation Group in Lake Oswego, Oregon. Under the guidance of experienced staff, the successful candidate will learn to design draft and design substation structures, foundations, and their related facilities.
Candidates must be willing and able to work effectively and efficiently in a hybrid work environment (i.e., remote, office-based, or a combination of the two).
In addition to working under the guidance of experienced team members, the selected intern will also participate in sessions designed to develop your skills and provide networking opportunities. Those sessions include :
- Professional Development sessions focused on resume writing, interview tips, building a LinkedIn profile, and more.
- Early Talent Speaker Series where leaders speak to interns about their role, vision for the company, and career path, offer career advice, and a Q&A session.
- Fun Friday activities where interns company-wide join to network and have some fun while doing it.
