Distribution Project LeadJob Summary
The qualified candidate will have experience with common utility standards, the ability to use design software packages, and general construction knowledge and aptitude. The candidate will perform designs on both overhead and underground distribution systems (4 kV to 35 kV), perform calculations, interpret codes and standards, create construction packages, and perform quality control reviews. They should be capable of working both independently and within a team framework. The candidate will be expected to deal directly with clients and therefore they must have strong command of the English language and possess good written and oral communications skills. Some travel should be expected.

Required Education/Experience
- 10 years of experience in the design and operation of overhead and underground distribution lines (4 kV through 35 kV)
- Familiarity with distribution design software, the National Electric Safety Code, and utility best practices
- Demonstrated ability to develop client relationships, write proposals, and manage projects from a technical and administrative perspective
- The ability to lead and direct a team of engineers, designers, and drafters
- Prior utility experience
- Exposure to utility Geographical Information Systems (GIS); Maximo, GE Smallworld, ArcFM, DDS etc.
