Summary of Roles and Responsibilities
POWER Engineers' Small Utilities (SUS) Department is currently seeking an Entry Level Electrical Engineer to work in the Ellensburg, WA area (candidates within commuting distance are preferred) . The entry level candidate will take part in establishing a new POWER Engineers office to help support the growing demand from our clients located in the Northwest region of the country. The qualified candidate will perform substation design, as well as a variety of other tasks as assigned by our electrical utility clients. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Substation, transmission and distribution design, which includes physical design, electrical design, relaying and grounding
- System relaying and protection, which includes station relaying, transmission line relaying and distribution coordination studies
- Must possess the ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively within a team setting

Base Salary Range : $70k - $80k
The range for this position is being displayed in compliance with all state and local regulations. Salaries are set based on a number of factors to include an individual's job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education. This means that no two candidates are alike. The range provided above does not include additional compensation such as bonus, health benefits, vacation, 401(k) match, etc.
