POWER Engineers is currently seeking an Entry-Level Substation Civil/Structural Engineer to work in the Power Delivery Substation Department in our Saint Louis, Missouri office. This is an in-office position, but flexibility is available for a hybrid work environment (employee will need to live within commutable distance of the office).
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of civil design for substations, including permitting, site work, structural and foundation design, and support of substation physical design and equipment layout. Occasional travel will be required.

Required
Required Education/Experience
- BSCE (Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering) degree from an accredited university
- Strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills to work effectively with internal team members and external client personnel
- Llegally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without the need for work sponsorship
- Minimum 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA)
- Ideal coursework includes structural analysis, concrete design, steel design, soil mechanics, foundation design, and surveying
- Structural analysis design software experience is a plus.
- Previous engineering design or drafting work experience, especially if related to civil and/or structural engineering, is desirable
- Engineer In Training (EIT) registration is desired
