Generation Division - Senior Level Electrical Engineer
Job Summary Of Roles And Responsibilities
POWER Engineers, member of WSP is seeking a Senior Generation Electrical Engineer to work in our Generation Electrical Department. Openings are available for the Boise, ID; Overland Park, KS; and Oradell, NJ offices.
Responsibilities Include
- Lead electrical engineer on design of power generation projects
- Lead electrical engineer on design of renewable energy projects
- Lead electrical engineer on power plant and switchyard electrical system upgrades
- Lead electrical engineer on federal electrical system upgrades
- Mentor and teach junior and mid engineers
- Project proposal and budget development
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- Electrical PE License
- 15 - 30 years of experience leading a team of engineers and designers in power generation projects
- 15 years of detailed design engineering experience in power generation projects, including calculations, equipment specifications, etc.
- 10 years of relay coordination and schematic design
- CAD, Microsoft Office, and ETAP or SKM software experience
- Master of Science or MBA
- Onsite construction support experience
