Mid-Level Underground Transmission Drafter
POWER Engineers is currently seeking a Mid-Level Drafter to work in the Power Delivery Underground Line Department in our Hailey, ID office.

Mid-Level Underground Transmission Drafter
POWER Engineers is currently seeking a Mid-Level Drafter to work in the Power Delivery Underground Line Department in our Hailey, ID office.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work with underground transmission line engineers and drafters to complete the following activities:
- Working with engineers and other drafters in the creation of construction drawings for underground transmission lines including: plan and profile drawings, detail drawings, cover sheet, and notes.
- Performing quality assurance checks on construction drawings
- Collaborating in both in-person meetings and virtual conference calls
- Organizing projects and their subsequent files and documents in ProjectWise
- Experience opportunities can include field visits and coordination with contractors and clients
- Associate degree in drafting (or equivalent technical degree)
- Strong experience in MicroStation
- Experience with drawing creation for Power Delivery (transmission, substation, distribution)
- 3 or more years drafting experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Working knowledge of survey coordinate systems
- Experience interpreting surveys
- Experience with Power Delivery client drafting standards (Xcel, Oncor, etc.)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong written and oral communications skills
