POWER Engineers seeks a Civil CAD Designer to join our growing Civil and Environmental Engineering Department. This position will be based in our Roanoke, VA office with the ability to work remotely. Employees may travel to a POWER office for periodic meetings.

The position entails drafting and designing opportunities on electrical utility and renewable energy projects, including supporting site civil and land development engineering—plan and profiles, grading and earthwork, erosion and sediment controls, stormwater management and drainage, access road layout, and grading.

Required
Required Education/Experience
- AutoCAD 2016-2025 experience
- 10 years of design and drafting experience with AutoCAD
- Must be flexible to changes in work assignments as changes occur in project needs
- Willing and able to self-check own work for completeness and accuracy
- The candidate must have a strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills to work effectively with other team members
- 8 years of design experience with AutoCAD 3D
- Experience with the following software packages is a plus:
- Bluebeam Revu
- Microsoft Office suite
- Good background in site development and construction
- Associates degree in drafting (or equivalent technical degree)
