Substation Electrical Engineer / Designer
Job Summary
POWER Engineers is seeking an Electrical Engineer / Designer with experience in substation physical and control design to work out of the Power Delivery Substation Department of our Minneapolis located in Burnsville, Minnesota. This role offers remote, hybrid, and in-office work options. Employees must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the office.
Responsibilities
- Perform and direct others in the detailed design of medium to high-voltage utility substations
- Perform detailed design of one-line diagrams, general arrangements, elevations, AC service calculations, conduit and cable sizing / routing, substation physical layouts, ground grid layouts, and details
- Occasional travel will be required
